Princess Lily~
Finally Princess Lily is feeling better, and that makes all of us feel better!
Clik here to view.

Princess Lily
She has been on thyroid medication once it was discovered that hyperthyroid is what started all of this. We started on a low dose for just over a month and she was happily eating Science Diet a/d which is critical care food for very sick furkids. Many vets use it when tube feeding critically ill patients. Princess Lily, being her little self~after all that time hasn’t gained any weight. With that her Dr. raised her medication and hopefully she will do better. We also changed her food and she is on Science Diet m/d so that she will get more nutrition than from regular food. We are keeping our paws crossed that this helps with the weight gain. Many older cats, and she is almost 16 years old, develop hyperthyroidism. It is very difficult to get them to gain weight but we will keep trying!
She is though, obviously feeling better. She is much more active, grooming herself much better and spending a lot more time with her family. Her brother Booth is her bestie and she loves to have him near her when she sleeps.
We are very thankful to those who assisted in her care when she was so sick, and send special thanks to her Aunt Tammy for helping us do the IV fluids here at home. Without her help we most likely wouldn’t have Princess Lily with us! Much love to Aunt Tammy from all of us!!
